An accredited investor is defined as:
 
Individual Income:
Earned income of more than $200,000 in each of the last two years, with a reasonable expectation of earning the same for the current year.
 
Joint Income (with spouse):
Joint income of more than $300,000 in each of the last two years, with a reasonable expectation of earning the same for the current year.
 
Net Worth Threshold:
Individual or Joint (with spouse): A net worth over $1 million, excluding the value of your primary residence.
